Here's another great Kinks show from the Mike Millard recording series that has only recently become available. This one is from a few years after the one posted last week, from 1981, just days after the release of The Kinks latest album at that time, Give The People What They Want, and also following their previous mega-hit album, Low Budget (1979), as well as their very successful live album, One For The Road (1980). Thus, this show features several songs from those two most recent albums, as well as a nice selection of earlier hits and fun tracks. Once again, a fine recording from Mike the MICrophone, and a resurgent Kinks lineup, basking in their return to prominence in the 1980's.
