Rockpile
(Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, Billy Bremner, Terry Williams)No Rock Unturned (Compilation of various Live tracks) (TDR-080)
1977-1980
Soundboard recordings, very good quality
Available in both Lossless (FLAC) and Mp3 320 kbps) versions
I recently ran across this compilation of Live tracks from the legendary rock band Rockpile (for more on Rockpile, see previous posts), that I hadn't seen before and didn't have. It compiles tracks from various live sources. Most of these tracks are included in other shows I have posted here previously, but there are a few new or different ones, and they are nicely presented here as sort of extended Rockpile show. Although I prefer some of the full concerts previously posted, I thought it would be good to post this as well, for completeness, and you can never have too much Rockpile in your life. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI tried to download the flac version and received a message that "The file has been marked as private." I wanted to make you aware in case this was not intentional. Thanks for the great shares on your site...
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I just learned that, as of 2023-12-01, ULOZ.net has changed their service to no longer allow any file sharing, with downloads only being allowed by the original registered user that uploaded the file. Of course, this is not at all why I uploaded the files or used this service, which was done specifically for sharing. So, as of now, all of the FLAC files that have Uloz.net links are not available, which is about 60 some files. I'll have to figure out another file hosting/sharing site before I can upload these and get new links. Sorry.
Understood. Thank you again for all that you do with this site.
ReplyDelete7-10 are also from a King Biscuit Flower Hour that i have on cassette somewhere. They mention being on tour with Blondie.
