BoDeans - 1988 - Waukesha, WI - WW1 Radio show

BoDeans in their 'early days'
BoDeans
1988 (unknown date)
Waukesha, WI
Westwood One In Concert Radio Show (88-03)

FM Broadcast recording, very good quality
available in both lossless (FLAC) and mp3 (320 kbps) versions

Here's another fine radio show (from draftervoi again) featuring MidWestern 'roots-rockers' the BoDeans in a performance from their home town of Waukesha, WI. This one is from back in 1988 and features songs from their first 2 albums (Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams -1986, Outside Looking In - 1987), a glimpse of their next album, Home-1989 ('Sylvia', 'Good Work'), as well as a previously unreleased rocker ('You Ain't Around') and a couple of tasty covers (including the Stones' 'Shattered', which includes the phrase that became the BoDeans 1st album title 'Love&Hope&Sex&Dreams'). Check it out.

  1. Thank you!!!

The Bodeans are one of the great under rated bands of the last 20 years. They are still making great music today although unfortunately Sam Llanas is no longer with the band.

Would love to hear more Bodeans either together or from their solo projects.

    Thanks again!!

  2. I've got an update on track 7: the actual title is "69 Blues" (yeah, like we'd ever be able to figure that out from the lyrics....). The Bodeans have released a studio version of it on a cd available on their website called "Leftovers." It's a low budget release; no details as to when it was recorded...but it SOUNDS like this version was recorded back in the 1980s.
