I wa...Great post, but what struck me was the photo. I was there when it was taken. I was 15, and skipped school to head into Manhattan where they were filming the trailer for Alice's Restaurant at a midtown studio (as announced on WBAI). We all sat around the table out of frame as a very stoned Arlo talked about the movie, then he started singing the Chorus and the camera pans back, revealing a crowd of revelers eating Thanksgiving dinner, sometime in April, as I recall.
